Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I park?
We have convenient, reserved parking spaces located near the front entrance for our first-time guests. We also have an awning you can pull under to drop off passengers before parking.
Where do my children go on Sunday?
During Sunday School we have classes for children aged 3-18. Children under three are welcome to join you in the adult Sunday School class.
During Sunday morning worship we offer Children's Church for children ages 3-2nd grade. We also have a nursery available if you need to step out with younger children.
What are worship services like?
Service is opened with announcements and time for prayer requests. Our music director leads the congregation in hymns accompanied by piano and organ. You will hear a Bible based message from our pastor, Dr. Jerry Medlock. The message is followed by an invitation to the altar where you can come forward for prayer, baptism, or membership.
What should I wear?
At Calvary Baptist Church, we want you to feel comfortable and come as you are. God sees our heart, which is what He cares about; it is not about the style of clothing we choose. You will mostly find modest, business-casual attire throughout our congregation, along with the occasional three-piece suit as well as jeans and a polo-type shirt.
